Men's Thing Reminder

Next Meeting Saturday November 11th

We welcome back as our speaker Paul Henry
Paul will be giving us the secrets of

‘Dyeing Naturally’
Have you thought about where the colour we have in our clothes comes from?
Paul Henry, our resident kilt maker, talks us through the plants and  bugs by which yarn has been and continues to be dyed. Beginning in  Ancient times right through to High Victorian fashion  almost every colour is covered with examples to see and touch.
Once again I know this is going to be a very interesting morning

Make sure that you put this in your diary

November lunch club

The theme this month had of course to be Bonfire Night with sparklers and poppers.  Thank you to our cooks Alastair and Deborah Harris for a fantastic meal.
