1st Old Malden (St. John the Baptist) Scout Group is proud to announce that Cub Scout Leader and Assistant Group Scout Leader Kay Gooud has been successfully nominated for a Jack Petchey Adult Achievement Award.
The Jack Petchey Foundation makes money and awards available each year to recognise the achievements, dedication and commitment of people, young or old, in voluntary organisations.
Our Scout Group wanted Kay to be recognised for everything she does for the young people in the parish through her involvement as a leader in Scouting.
Kay will receive her award at a prestigious awards ceremony at the Ashcroft Theatre in Croydon in September and will receive a special medal and certificate as a mark of recognition.
Well done Kay!
