It's not neglect. We deliberately allow the grass to grow in the churchyard, because it is home to endangered species of flowers.
Twice a year we cut it...
and leave it to lay for a few days so that seeds are dispersed.
The next bit is the Churchyard Working Party!
Saturday 25 July from 9.30am, come and do you bit for the environment and nature conservation. Even just an hour's work will be appreciated.
