The other St John's ...
We just received this from Ryan H....
"On 16th July I attended Buckingham Palace as a guest of YOU London (Youth Organisations in Uniform) on behalf of St Johns Ambulance. About 9 different youth organisations were present. We were able to display various skills to each other and I even had the chance to demonstrate CPR to Boris Johnson, who had a go himself. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were present through out and as they left we all stood to attention while the National Anthem played."
Well done Ryan ... and proud mum Ruth!

Doing a great job Ryan and you look so smart - what an occasion. Would I be right in thinking Alison Eggitt and her band were playing the National Anthem?
Congratulations Ryan; good to see St John's Ambulance Brigade on the parish blog.
Yes, the Kingston and Malden Scout and Guide Band did play the National Anthem at the end of the event, having played a couple of slots in one of the two bandstands. Our own Franklin also attended to represent our Scout Group and Royal Kingston Scouts and I know he has written a fullsome report which I have recommended for Old Malden News.
