With wives and friends the ‘Men’s Thing' spent the day Thursday Sept 10th on the Kent & East Sussex Railway….
Beautiful scenery … super company … and plenty of steam stories to interest us in…..
Our ‘Leader’ Derek made it all the way with us this time .. unlike the Watercress Line.. I don’t think I ever did catch up with him on that trip!!!!
This time we where never far out of his guiding sight!
"Make sure you are not late’ we where told… would you believe, we arrived at Tenterden station with one! minute to spare.. good for Tom, our driver for the day… Derek was getting a little anxious!
Puffing along through some of Kent’s beautiful countryside - eating packed lunches - tours around the museum, watching photographers fighting for the best shot!!! and best of all a trip back from Bodiam on a DMU! ... what's that you ask ... come to the next meeting of the 'Mens Thing' all will be revealed!!!
