tough on you all coping with that foreign grub - did it give you food for thought!? (there is something strange on those tomatoes on the last pic, and what are the long green things?)
Excuse me ...! The 'something strange' is aspic, in which one found slivers of cooked meats, fish and crudités ... As for the 'long green things', they were blanched asparagus.... As you say, a tough life ...
I'm afraid that it's a while until Maundy Thursday if Kevin is waiting to have his feet washed!
