THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN AND THEIR FLYING MACHINES.

On Saturday March 20th,Keith Jennings opened up the model aircraft world – and kept the ‘Mens Thing’ spellbound as he gave an hour long talk on his hobby, building flying machines. The Church extension was transformed into a miniature aircraft hanger as Keith went into the intricate details - how to control – fuel types – and the many types of craft that one can build. His talk was over to soon and was enjoyed by us all. Thanks Keith a really super morning . Our next speaker will be Chris Feltham and the subject …! ‘Bee Keeping’ ! ‘ And is there honey still for tea? (Balham? That shows my age!!) Can anyone remember the rest of the ‘Best of Sellers’? - answers at our next meeting.

Well ... there was the poem by Rupert Brooke; but who knows? There could be one by Balham too...
