It was a day out with members of the Men’s Thing to see the rehearsal for the Trooping the Colour on Horse Guards Parade. As usual a performance of perfection by the Guards Regiments. Our ‘Men’s Thing’ leader Derek got us all to the parade on time.. Unfortunately he did not organise the weather!! However Pat Hembrow was on hand with a few black bin liners, giving us some protection. Afterwards a quick walk over Trafalgar Sq. to the Portrait Gallery Café for a nice cuppa, a chat about the next ‘Men’s Thing’ programmes…. And so back to Worcester Park.. a really nice day out … Many thanks Derek for organising the tickets …. Very much appreciated by all.
