And so, after five days, 84 miles (+ a bit extra), two
dioceses, numerous blisters, and several costume changes, Sion Hughes-Carew and
I finally made it to the end of Hadrian's Wall.
Thank you so very much to all of you who have encouraged us in this endeavour
(particularly the Revd Georgiana Heskins who joined us for the final 15 mile
slog and helped ensure we made it to Newcastle Cathedral in time for Mass), who
have prayed for us (and our feet), and who have donated to SANE handing us cash
or via our JustGiving page,
https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/SionandHarvey
(Donations are still being accepted.) We are ever so grateful. And sore. But
still hugely
grateful.
