Caring Conservation

When you next visit the churchyard  there are many treats for the eye (even before you get in the church!).

Look out for...........
Ox Eye daisies welcoming you by the west door
Four of the eight  of our lovingly protected Bee Orchids are flowering (well done Chris).

(Note the seed pods about to burst forth)

Keep your eyes open for sightings of the Common Blue Butterfly ( which is definately not common)  and let Chris or Anne Beales know if you see one.

Then, when you get in to Church, Lyn's beautiful wild flower arrangement........

(think they are all from the churchyard)

6 Acre Meadow

If you go down to the woods today.......

You're sure of a big surprise. Some hard working people have been labouring on our behalf to conserve our little bit of countryside.  So  - get off your couch, spud, and get yourself down to the 6 Acre Meadow and The Fen to enjoy the blessings of fresh air and the beauty around you.

You never know what you might see, deer, kingfisher, yellow wagtails, woodpeckers, have all been spotted in the environs.
