Hello to all my railway enthusiasts at St John’s – look this is how far I have got with my layout, started in January 2008. You will notice in the picture a loco coming out of the tunnel. This is a Class 5MT Stanier 4-6-0 ‘Black Five’ - Wow! how did I know that you ask – It’s on the box! You see I know very little about model railways - I am just enjoying a new experience, and taking the advice from those of you who know far more than I. I bought the Stanier at auction, it was in bits, spent about an hour or so with screwdriver, tweezers, and a few squirts of computer cleaner, and we have a loco now that runs as smooth as silk.
