The Wednesday Women met for the first time this week and definitely achieved the objective of the evening which was "Getting to Know You." Jenny and Karen ran a very enjoyable evening which overran by twenty five minutes - well, what do you expect when women are encouraged to chat! We started by finding out about someone we hadn't met before and then shared this information with the rest of the group. It was amazing to find links with others that we wouldn't have expected. These conversations continued over tea and coffee followed by a quiz, which, although not undertaken in a competitive manner, I have to add was won by "Louise's Lovelies"! Another team was called "N.F.F - New Found Friends" which summed up the evening.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 25th March - in case you were wondering, an important date in the church calendar got in the way this week!

I had a lovely evening and was sorry to have to leave in the middle of the quiz but am delighted my team won!! Thank you for organising, I look forward to next months.
